May favourites

Bonjour!
Hello everybody. I would just like to start off by saying sorry that I haven't really posted much at all through May, but as some of you already know, every single one of us on this blog have been going through exams which means we have had to revise a lot. Luckily the exams are over so I will be going back to my usual one a week routine.
Anyway enough about that. So since may has almost finished, I have decided to do a may favourites, because I loved doing the April one. So let's get started:

1. Big Bang bubble bar - Lush.
I absolutely love this bubble bar. the night my exams ended I had a bath, and this bubble bar was so good and relaxing. It created quite a lot of bubbles and it smelt amazing. It also turned the water blue and sparkly which is cool too.

2. Nivea essential care lip balm - boots.
This isn't that exiting, but trust me it's an amazing product. This lip balm makes your lips feel so good and it starts working almost instantly. It also has no colour to it so it means you can use it at school.

3. Fruitigo body spray from soap and glory - boots
This body spray is amazing. I sadly ran out of my sugar crush one so I started using this one and I loved it. The smell is very long lasting and the smell is very fruity (obviously) and sweet, so if you don't like sweet or fruity scents I wouldn't recommend it, but if your like me then I think you should buy it.

4. butter me up body butter, zoella -super drug.
I ran out of my body shop body butter but I had this in my drawer from Christmas so I decided to try it, and I am so glad i did. The butter leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturised, and it also smells amazing. As well as this the packaging is so cute and you don't need much to make your skin feel good, so that means it lasts a long time.

5. Wild argan oil shower gel - body shop.
I Love love love this shower gel. To be honest I love all body shop shower gels but I especially love this one. The shower gel leaves your body smelling amazing for a long time, and I also find the smell isn't really overpowering, which is good.

6. Soft hands kind heart - body shop.
This is a hand cream and it is amazing. After you use it your hands feel so soft and healthy. It is also a good smell which many people like so that's a bonus.

Anyway I hope you have enjoyed my blog post. Leave a comment down below on the things you have been loving, and you could possibly have a shout out!

Mini haul

Hi guys!
I've decided to take a quick break from revision and do a mini haul on what I bought the other day when I went shopping with my friend. I know this isn't really my topic but I thought it would be nice to do something different.

  1. The first thing I got was some cotton pads from boots! Not very exciting I know but really useful for removing nail varnish and makeup! They are only £1.80 and there are lots in the packet.
  2. Then we went to primark where I got these shorts for the summer for £7. Primark is really cheap and I didn't need good quality ones so if your looking for a cheap place to buy some clothes then I recommend primark as they do have some nice things. However their short range isn't great but the shorts I found I really like(even though they're too big for me!).
  3. We then went to body shop. I love body shop and I have really dry hands so I was looking for some hand cream and in body shop they have 3 for 2 on small items so I thing bought mango scented hand gel which smells amazing and is really useful to have on you and if you need a quick freshen up of the hands. I then also bought lip butter recommended by my friend and it's really good making your lips really soft! Of course I then bought the hand cream too and it makes your hands feel really soft and smell really good! I bought mine in wild argon oil which is one of my fav scents. Altogether this was £8.
  4. I then went to paperchase and bought this really nice pencil case for £6. It is black with a rose pattern on it and is just really pretty. I love paper chase in general and if your looking for some nice stationary then paperchase is really good!
  5. Finally we went to lush one of my favourite shops and I bought the Big Bang bubble bar which smells AMAZING and is defiantly one of my favourite scents in the shop. I also bought the twilight bath bomb that I have yet to try but it is meant to be really relaxing which is what I will need after exams!
So that's what I bought I hope you enjoyed reading it and I have given you some shops to visit because I love all those shops! If your looking for something similar to what I have spoken about then definitely check out those shops! If you have any shops that you think me and other people would like to visit or items that are in any shop that you would reccomend then please leave it in the comment below and I will add giving you a shout out of course!
Thank you for reading!

How to make your own lipstick

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN LIPSTICK
Hello! Sorry for not being very active on this lately. Lets get straight into this.
You need:
Powder eyeshadow
Petroleum Jelly

Get your eyeshadow in whatever colour you want and scrape it into the bowl. Crush it with the back of the spoon until it’s a fine powder. Then add a tablespoon of petroleum jelly and a teaspoon of the eyeshadow powder to a microwave safe bowl. Put it in the microwave and heat until the mixture goes runny, then stir until all the mixture is coloured with the pigments. If you want a darker colour add more eyeshadow or add less eyeshadow if you want it to look like a lipgloss.

Moving house

Hi!
I'm so sorry I haven't updated I like forever but I've been really busy. I've just moved house-hence the topic of this blog, so I have been really busy sorting out the house and helping out my parents.
So as I said this blog is me giving you guys a few tips that you could use when moving house so I hope you find them useful!

  1. Make sure you know where everything is and if you can be there when you are moving in so that you can make sure all your stuff goes into your room and everything is put where you want it. That way you can make sure that you know where all of your things are and where everything else that you may need is too.
  2. Take your own bag with all your personal things in and stuff that you will need starlight away. It helps to get a bag and put underwhere and clothes for the next day in the bag too so that you won't have to worry about finding your clothes in one of the many boxes!
  3. If you are the one in charge of moving house then if you don't really have have much time then it's really useful to get people in to do your packing for you. They do it in a day and it saves you a lot of stress! However it does cost money to do so if you can't afford it then it won't be ideal. If you can though I reccomend it and suggesting to other people who may be getting very stressed about moving as it really does makes life a lot easier!
That's all I really have as the rest is pretty obvious such as just being organised!
I hope you enjoyed my blog again I'm really sorry it's been so long but I will try to update more often but not too recently as we have exams😒 So I will be revising a lot and don't have much spare time.
Thank you for reading! Leave any more tips down in the comments and I will add them giving credit of course! I would also love it if you could leave some suggestions on what else I could write about and what you would like to read.

April favourites xx

Hiya,
So this week I have decided to do a blog post which has nothing to do with my theme, (school) because today I'm going to do an April favourites!!! 💗 Enjoy!! 💘
1. Cocoa body butter from the body shop.
I got this body butter for Christmas and I have used it every day since, and there's still loads left which proves how long lasting it is! This body butter is AMAZING it is extremely moisturising, and it makes your skin feel extremely healthy and soft, and it also smells of chocolate which is an added bonus 😂
2. Strawberry shower gel from the body shop.
I love body shops strawberry scented things, and this shower gel not only makes you smell incredible, it also makes your bathroom smell really nice too.

3. Sugar crush body spray from soap and glory.
I LOVE this scent, you can get a hand gel in it too which I LOVE, and they both smell WOW also the body spray I find is very long lasting so you smell nice for a really long time.

4. Hand maid grapefruit hand gel from soap and glory.
This hand gel smells amazing, i'm not a massive fan of grapefruit because I can find it really overpowering, but this isn't at all. It's smells really nice, and it's really good at cleaning your hands, and it makes them smell and fell really nice afterwards.

5. Ps... LOVE rose body mist from primark,
This smells so good, it's in a small bottle so it's perfect for traveling and believe it or not it actually lasts a really long time too.

6. Peach punch baby lips.
This lip gloss is so good. It's got a very slight peachy tint to it, and it smells so good. It's also extremely moisturising and whenever my lips feel sore they always make them feel good again. And since there is a slight tint if you need to put it around your lips you can't really see it, and when it's on your lips it makes them look really healthy.

7. Noughts and crosses by Malorie Blackman.
This book is actually one of my favourite books and I have only read about thirty pages, it is about the different races, and the main characters are Calum who is from a poor family and is 'a nought' which are the 'second class citizens', and then there's Sephy who is a 'cross' and she is from a rich family. THIS BOOK IS JUST SO GOOD.

Anyway I hope you have enjoyed by monthly favourites, comment down below what you have been enjoying this month. I'll see you soon!!

Beauty School Essentials - Part 2

Hi,
As said in last weeks blog post since their are lots of essentials for school I thought I should do 2 parts. Lets dive straight in 🏊!
1. Concealer
I don't use it but if you have lots of blemishes and black heads then I would recommend using it. I'm pretty sure most schools don't allow you to wear makeup but if you believe that you skin is really that bad then I just recommend that you really work it into your skin so it doesn't look cakey. I would recommend the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer or the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer.
2. Mascara
As said previously I don't actually use makeup because I'm not allowed and they do makeup checks often so it would be a waste. But if you're school lets you or don't do frequent makeup checks then I would recommend that you use mascara open up your eyes more especially if you didn't get much sleep to make you more awake. If you want dramatic lashes the I would suggest the Maybelline Lash Sensational but I can't think of any clear mascara at the moment. If you have any suggestions please leave them in the comments. 😊
3. Powder
I think that it's an essential to have powder too. I don't have one because as said above I'm not allowed but if I was I would have it on me all the time. I would say I have combination skin because my skin is dry apart from my T-Zone. So if I was allowed I would one on me so I could matte up my skin and make sure it's not oily. I would recommend the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.
4. Compact Mirror
I think that you should always have a compact mirror on you cause you never know when you'll need a quick touch up and you're not able to get to the bathroom. I especially like using it in lessons because sometimes when I'm really really really bored, (which is like every day,) I
like to do my hair. So consequently you should check your self in the mirror so that you don't go out looking like a derp.
5. Hair Bands
I think you should always have hair bands in you incase you forget that you have Food Tech or PE. Also if you doing a mini hairdressers in your form at lunchand have decided you want to have to French plaits but don't have any hairbands. Also if there are those people who never bring hairbands and are always asking food spairs then there you go. But to be honest be careful who you give it to cause some people are like 'what you never gave me a hairband?' In my head I'm just like 'mmhhmm that's the last time I'm giving you a hairband.'
Anyway I hope you have enjoyed my blog post for today. Next week I'm going to do a book tour because there are some really nice books their which I think you'll enjoy. I'll also have a few books which I haven't got and want to get and I've read them but don't own them yet
Anyhoo...
Please leave in the comments, What are you school beauty essentials?
